What advice would you give to someone who is praying about entering the mission field: Pray and know that you know that it is God’s will. Stand firm on His Word, because there will be many times that you want to throw in the towel and go home, but you have to remain faithful to His call on your life. People want consistency. Love them with Christ’s love, and don’t try to change them to be like you.

Position:Pastor

Birthdate: June 3rd
Home country: Nicaragua
Favorite food: Gallo pinto (rice & beans mixed), fried plantains
Favorite Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:15 6.
Number of years in ministry: 12 years
Seminary attended: Good Samaritan Baptist Institute
Family: Wife, two daughters (ages 21 & 11), one granddaughter
Favorite part of ministry: Preaching the Gospel
How did you get your start in ministry: My wife and I had the opportunity to hold services in a home with a senior adult and two children in attendance. From the very first service, I felt a passion to teach the Word of God and see souls saved. I later talked with several pastors about the passion I felt for preaching the Word, and I was given the opportunity to study in a Bible institute. My call didn’t come from studying, it came from God; but studying helped me to learn how to present the Word in a way that would make it easily understandable to those I have the opportunity to share with.
